It's simple. In my mind this word is a some sort of symbol of our life, 'cause it's full of drama: one problem after another, mental struggles, illnesses, family/money/social issues and so on.
«ut there's also a prefix "melo" which I have no idea means, but for me it goes from word "melody", because every emotion eigher it's pain or happiness has it's own melody. And so I think that's really beautiful.
